Sumeet Naik, a backend and cloud engineer who likes building useful software.
I’m Sumeet, a backend and cloud engineer working across APIs, data systems, infrastructure, and automation.
I build with Rust, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript. My backend work spans Node.js, FastAPI, Express.js, Fastify, Hono, and GraphQL, from serverless services to APIs for identity, subscriptions, and payments.
I’ve worked with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Redis, and use AWS, Cloudflare, Docker, and Terraform for infrastructure and delivery. My experience includes database migrations, infrastructure provisioning, and release automation.
I also work on web and mobile applications with React, Next.js, and React Native.
Outside work, I’m exploring MLOps through ModelForge, where I experiment with model serving, release workflows, and observability.
Away from work, I enjoy reading and running a small homelab. I graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Silicon Institute of Technology in 2023.
